We had a great time and would love to come back. I loved Beijing and the older parts of China. I loved to learn the language and had fun learning to count, say hello etc. I am saving to come back. In Beijing we had a guide called Jessica. She was fantastic!! It was great to see the different perspectives of the country from all three guides. Shanghai was ok, however the Yu gardens were spectacular. My only criticism is that I would have loved the guides and drivers to eat with us to learn more of the language, more of your culture and to help understand the restaurant workers. Also the food in Beijing was great, the food in Xi'an and Shanghai was ok.
But thanks for the great tour.

Thank you for all of your help with scheduling and organizing my chinese tour.
The tour guides were all exceptional and each went beyond my expectations.
I had a wonderful time and have many memories I will cherish for years.
I will not hesitate to use your group if I visit china again.
I will also recommend your group to anyone I know who is planning to visit china.

the tour guide in shanghai (Ping) was exceptional. I spent an hour my last night writing a 2 page recommendation commending her service. I hope you got a chance to see that. She went well beyond what I expected, walking with me when normally they would have driven, changing my schedule at notice, staying late as some of my activities extended the day. If you did not get the 2 page letter I wrote for her I'll gladly relist all the things she did beyond what I expected to make my stay great.
The hotel in shanghai was also excellent. It was the nicest of the trip. It had both a bath and a shower. The shower had 2 shower heads a normal shower and a rain shower (i took 2 showers a day as it was so nice). They also served a fantastic breakfast (the best by far of the trip). |

My apologies for not writing to you sooner. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our short holiday in Beijing. Nancy, our guide, was a STAR and she really made our time in Beijing very interesting and fun. We would not hesitate to recommend Dragon Delight Int. Tours to our friends. The hotel was comfortable (but I think the carpet in our room was a bit old and badly stained). Mr Deng, our driver, was very courteous and drove very safely. The meals included in our tour price were of a very high standard and very delllicious.

Just to let you know that we had a wonderful time and were satisfied with the program. The itinerary was completed fully. We would be happy to recommend your services to our friends
Hotels - were generally good with the exception of Heng Sheng Peninsular in Shanghai which was a bit old and run-down.
Food - The chinese food served was ok but we personally found them too oily.
Guides - All were proficient in English.
Richard (in Beijing) - very knowledgeable and provided good information at the right time. He is practical and adjust his program as situation changes such as traffic conditions and individual needs. He is firm and do not compromise the itinerary. A very experienced and good guide.
Jane (in Xian) - knowledgeable and friendly but could be more firm with difficult individual.
Jacky (in Guilin) - friendly and helpful guide. Very effective with dealing with difficult individual. Focus on delivering itinerary. Obviously know Guilin well.
Vivien (in Shanghai) - friendly and manage difficult individual well.

Thank you. We are home after our excellent 28days in China culminating in our 8 day Yunnan experience.
Our tour with Dragon Delight was excellent. From the time we were met at Kunming Airport to through Dali, Li Jiang and Shangrila and back to Kunming before flying home on September 26th everything was well organised. Our tour guides, Jason, Wiliam, the delightful Mandy in Li Jiang and Dorma in Shangrila, were excellent. They were prompt, knowledgable, had excellent English and knew their area well. Our drivers were also excellent, especially the gentleman that remained with us from Dali through Li jiang and on to Shangrila. We felt confident being driven by them on roads where some road users that were less than safe.
The hotels were top quality, and the restaurants that we were taken to for lunches provided fine food with a great variety of local dishes.
It was a joy to be guided by a lass from the Naxi minority in Li Jiang and a Tibetan in Shangrila. They were able to give us an excellent insight into their culture.
I was a little hesitiant in booking a trip over the internet in a country we had not visited before but could not fault your organisation or personnel.
